Take reusables with you
Simple swaps that cut waste on the go.
Small habits on the move add up. Carry a reusable water bottle and coffee cup, and use local refill points instead of buying single-use. The Refill app maps more than 300,000 stations worldwide where you can top up water or use reuse schemes.

At grounds, many clubs now run returnable cup schemes and provide water fountains. Tottenham’s OnePlanet reusable cups operate across general admission areas and are saving well over a million single-use cups each season, with water fountains available throughout concourses.

Tottenham Hotspur club sustainability update
Reusable cups at our stadium save over a million single-use cups a season.
Fans are already showing it works. Arsenal’s programme has prevented hundreds of thousands of plastic cups from being binned since launch. Villa Park also runs reusable hot-drink cups across kiosks and hospitality.

Helpful stat
The UK uses about 2.5 billion disposable coffee cups a year, with fewer than 1 in 400 recycled. Reuse beats single-use.
Tips
- Bring a bottle and cup, and look for “Refill” stickers or fountains near stations, high streets and stadium concourses – be sure to always check club policy on bringing bottles into the stadium.
- At matches, return your cup to the marked bins so it can be washed and reused.
- Keep a collapsible cup in your bag for spontaneous coffees.
