Green Football 2026 runs 9th – 22nd March, seeing clubs, players and fans coming together to Defend Where Football Lives.

Football doesn’t just live in stadiums. It lives in our streets and our parks, our pitches and playgrounds. These are the everyday spaces where people come together to kick around, connect, and belong.

Whether playing or watching, when extreme weather like flooding, heat and wild fires wipes out a match, it’s not just the 90 minutes that’s lost. It’s seeing our mates. It’s our weekly run-out. It’s how we finally switch off, the one thing that gets us out of our head for a couple of hours.

For millions of us, football — whether it’s five-a-side, Sunday league, or the weekly pilgrimage to the ground — is a lifeline.



But our changing climate puts all of that at risk. The routines, the relationships, the sense of belonging… It all rests on the places where we and the game we love.

Now those places need us. It’s time to come together and defend where football lives. And this is exactly what is happening this Green Football, as clubs, players, fans all come together to take action to do this.

Terms & Conditions – Green Football 2026 (the “Promotion”)

Eligibility

This Promotion is open to:

• residents of the UK; and
• People aged 18 years or over (proof of age may be required).

The following categories of entrant are not permitted to enter this Promotion:

• Employees of Green Football or Sky UK Limited or any associated companies (“Sky”);
• Immediate family members (including any live-in partner or household member) of employees of Sky; and Employees (or members of their immediate families, including any live-in partner or household member) of companies associated with the Promotion and all affiliates of such companies.

Entry Period

1. This Promotion opens at 00:00 on 6, March, 2026 and closes at 00:00 on 23, March, 2026 (the “Promotional Period”).

Entry Requirements

1. To enter the prize draw, entrants must visit www.pledgeball.org and support a football team by making a lifestyle pledge(s) during the Promotional Period for any of the team’s matches taking place before [end date]. A lifestyle pledge is a simple behavioural change e.g. shower only for 4 mins, going vegan, cycling to work.
2. By submitting an entry to the to the prize draw, you understand and agree that you are providing information to the Promoter.
3. The responsibility of taking consent for processing of personal data of the guest, lies with the Promoter. This information will be processed in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Notice available here: https://pledgeball.org/privacy-policy/.
4. One (1) submission counts as one entry into the prize draw, regardless of how many pledges are selected in this submission. 
5. Participants may submit one (1) submission per fixture. Entries (bulk or otherwise) made from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. If it becomes apparent that a participant is using computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’ or any other automated means, that person’s entries will be all disqualified and the prize award will be void.
6. Entrants who do not give correct details or those who make an entry on someone else’s behalf will be disqualified, at the Promoter’s discretion.
7. Numerous factors outside the control of the Promoter may interfere with the operation of the website. The Promoter does not therefore guarantee continuous uninterrupted or secure access to website.
8. Incomplete, illegible, invalid or misdirected entries will not be accepted. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of delivery. The Promoter takes no responsibility for entries delayed, incomplete or lost due to technical reasons or otherwise.
9. No purchase necessary, however, internet access is required.

Winner Selection and notification

1. 5 winners (and some reserve winners) will be selected at random from all eligible entries using an independent third-party computer system. The winner will be notified by email via the details provided on the entry for, within 14 working days of the close of the promotion. Entrants are encouraged to monitor their email connections during this time in case they are the winner.

• If the winners cannot be contacted within 28 days or are not able or available to accept the prize for any reason which is beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, then the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant. 

Prizes

1. Each winner will receive the following prize: a 12-month NOW subscription. 
2. The prize does not include any other service or item not specifically described above. 

• Please be aware that at the end of the 12-month period, your passes will automatically renew from a free subscription to a paid one & managing this will be your responsibility. To avoid unwanted charges, please make a note of the end date to cancel. Each of the memberships will have to be cancelled individually.

Data Protection

1. Any entrant data collected will be used for the purpose of administering the promotion and contacting the winners to notify them of the prize and, if you are the winner, we may pass them on to third parties to deliver the prize.

General

1. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility for network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind, which may restrict or delay the sending or receipt of your entry. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
2. There is no cash alternative to the prize and unless agreed otherwise in writing the prize is non-refundable and non-transferable.
3. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equivalent or greater monetary value if this is necessary for reasons beyond its control.
4. Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence or in respect of fraud and so far as is permitted by law, the Promoter and its associated companies and agents exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from the enjoyment of the prize; and/or any postponement, cancellation, delay or changes to the prize beyond the Promoter’s control; and for any act or default of any third party supplier.   
5. The Promoter will not be liable for any prize(s) that do not reach the winners for reasons beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.
6. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding in all respects on all entrants.  No correspondence will be entered into. Entries that do not comply in full with these entry terms and conditions will be disqualified.
7. The Promoter may refuse or disqualify any entry (including winning entries) if there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or if the entrant concerned or anyone authorised by the entrant to deal with their entry, acts in a way towards the Promoter, other entrants or Sky staff which the Promoter reasonably considers to be inappropriate, unlawful or offensive. If the winning entry is disqualified the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant.   
8. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and agreed to be bound by them when entering this Promotion.
9. This Promotion, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law.  You irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with this promotion.
